Come join Texas Top Aviation on September 3rd-5th, 2020 in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder Resort for the 2020 Texas Top Aviation Santa Fe Golf Fly-In. The Buffalo Thunder Resort is home to the Towa Golf Course, home to the only island green in New Mexico.
The getaway starts off with your arrival at the Santa Fe Municpal Airport (KSAF) on Thursday morning, September 3rd. With a control tower, multiple runways, and approaches, Santa Fe is an easy place to land. Our host FBO, The Jet Center at Santa Fe, will be there with friendly faces and fuel discounts to greet all attendees on arrival. Just tell the tower you are parking at the Jet Center on arrival and you will be directed to their quite expansive ramp.
You will have the option of riding a shuttle to the Buffalo Thunder Resort or arranging for your own rental car with the Jet Center. A rental car may be preferred in order to experience all that Santa Fe has to offer, but a shuttle will be provided that departs hourly from the Jet Center to the Buffalo Thunder Resort (please note on your registration form if you plan to use the shuttle or you plan to get a rental car).
Lunch will be served at the resort upon your arrival, then it’s time to hit the links on Thursday afternoon! 2020 will mark the first annual Texas Top Aviation Fly In Golf Tournament. The tournament will be scored under the Peoria Format (see #2 on page 2) to give everyone a fair shake. Even a 30 handicapper has a chance to win! The tournament will take place over both afternoons of golf.
Friday morning, Texas Top Aviation will present an aviation seminar designed to help you fly your airplane safer and more proficiently. Friday afternoon is round of golf number two, followed by the 2020 Texas Top Aviation Fly In Golf Tournament Trophy presentation at dinner. Then, it’s a departure back home on Saturday morning.
The weekend will run $1075/person, plus taxes and fees ($975/person for a non-golfer, $520.00 & $720 for double occupant non-golfer & golfer, respectively, all plus taxes and fees). That includes both rounds of golf, accommodations for the weekend, Thursday and Friday dinner, Thursday & Friday lunch, and Friday & Saturday morning breakfast.
Registration closes on August 15th, 2020.
