Aircraft Description

2009 Piper Meridian PA46-500TP N6081E

Price: $1,550,000

Are you looking for a Piper Meridian for sale that is completely ready to go? Take a look at N6081E, a gorgeous 2009 Piper Meridian with the Garmin G1000 NXi, 2024 paint, a 2024 interior, and a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42A with only 911 hours since overhaul. Add in the MT five-blade composite prop and you’ve got a Meridian that looks, flies and feels a whole lot newer than a 2009.

Plenty of Engine Left

The engine is the big story on this airplane. With 911 hours since overhaul, you’ve got 2,689 hours to go until TBO and 889 hours until the hot section inspection, so the big engine bills are a long way down the road. The starter-generator and alternator were overhauled when the engine went back on, too. The MT five-blade composite prop was installed new in 2023 and has 1,050 hours on it. It saves weight over the original prop and makes for a much quieter ride in the cabin.

So how does it fly? The previous owner regularly saw more than 270 KTAS at FL280 burning less than 40 GPH. That’s over 300 mph! The engine runs cool at that speed, right around 740 ITT, and being able to climb into the high twenties gives you a lot more options when you’re working around weather. With known ice, radar, a Stormscope and factory air conditioning, you can go when you need to go and stay comfortable doing it. The cabin pressure controller, outflow valve and safety valve were all replaced in 2024 as well.

G1000 NXi Panel

Up front, the G1000 NXi is a big step up from the original G1000. The screens are sharper, everything loads faster, and with Flight Stream 510 you can send flight plans and database updates to the panel wirelessly from your iPad. The GFC 700 autopilot will fly the airplane from the climb all the way down a coupled approach. For weather, you’ve got the GWX 68 radar, a WX 500 Stormscope and SiriusXM, plus ADS-B In traffic and weather through the GTX 345. A Mid-Continent MD302 backs it all up as the digital standby.

2024 Paint and Interior

The paint and interior were both done in 2024, and they really make the airplane pop on the ramp. People walk up thinking it’s brand new! The paint is Ice Silver with black and burgundy striping. Inside, KI Interiors in Fort Worth redid everything in April 2024: silver-gray leather seats, sheepskin on the pilot and co-pilot seats, new carpet and headliner, and a new storage cabinet and rear table. They rewebbed every seat belt while they were at it.

N6081E has no damage history, an upgraded engine mount, and complete logs since new. The annual isn’t due until January 2027, so this plane is ready to go.
