Bonanza Training For Aircraft Owners
Texas Top Aviation provides initial and recurrent Beechcraft Bonanza courses. The initial Bonanza course is a 3–5 day course, depending on whether the pilot is VFR or IFR and how proficient he or she is. By the end of your Bonanza training, you will be intimately familiar with how your Bonanza operates.

Texas Top Aviation follows the American Bonanza Society’s Guide to Initial Checkouts for all initial Bonanza courses. If you require a Flight Review or an Instrument Proficiency Check, please let your instructor know — Texas Top Aviation can accommodate your specific training needs.
Texas Top Aviation boasts two officially designated ABS Instructors, one of whom is BPPP qualified (Casey McKee). Looking for Bonanza experts? Look no further!
Recurrent Bonanza Training
Texas Top Aviation follows the FAA’s recommendation of doing some sort of proficiency training every four to six weeks. That way, pilots stay proficient on the necessary maneuvers for Flight Reviews and IPCs. This proficiency training involves 2–4 hour sessions covering the various visual and instrument maneuvers required on BFRs and IPCs. See Appendices 4 & 7 of AC 61-98B for more information on the FAA’s Proficiency Practice Plans.
Need a Flight Review or IPC in your Bonanza? Texas Top Aviation can help. We go above and beyond the requirements to stay current; we ensure you are proficient and, most importantly, safe to fly. BFRs and IPCs usually take about 4 hours to complete.
Haven’t had any training in a year? Texas Top Aviation utilizes the ABS guidance for yearly recurrent training. Recurrent training is typically 1–2 days, depending on pilot proficiency.
